Consultation on the re-designation of the
Teversal, Stanton Hill and Skegby Neighbourhood Forum
~
Ashfield District Council first designated the Teversal, Stanton Hill and Skegby Neighbourhood Forum in February 2015 and the Forum was re-designated in 2020.
Under UK government legislation, the designation of a neighbourhood forum must be renewed every five years.
~
In September the Forum applied to Ashfield District Council
for re-designation for the 5 year period from 2025.
~
Re-designation will enable the Neighbourhood Forum to continue to act under the relevant legislation in relation to the designated Neighbourhood Plan Area, which remains unchanged. Should the Council approve the application for the renewal of the Forum, no other organisation can be designated as a neighbourhood forum for the area until the designation is withdrawn or expires.
~
In accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012,
the Council is undertaking a consultation on the
Teversal, Stanton Hill and Skegby Neighbourhood Forum application.
The consultation period runs from 11 October 2024 to 22 November 2024.

You can find out more about the re-designation process and how to participate in the consultation by visiting the Ashfield District Council website pages dedicated to this process
