Our Forum

Following the formal adoption of the Teversal, Stanton Hill & Skegby Neighbourhood Plan by Ashfield District Council, the members of the Forum agreed to set up a series of Working Groups that would seek to put many of the ideas and proposals included in the Plan into practice.

The four Working Groups are:

- Planning & Heritage
- Climate Change (including Public Transport)
- Heritage
- Friends of Stanton Hill

The chair of each Working Group, together with the Chairman, Treasurer & Secretary and a small number of additional members, make up the Management Committee of the Forum.

Each working group meets on an ad-hoc basis, usually just by email or online meeting, to plan activities, review progress and define plans for the future.

The Management Committee also works in a similar way, to review the activities of the Working Groups, to review the finances of the Forum and to plan for the quarterly Forum meetings.

The Forum itself meets once per quarter and is open to all members of the public and local businesses.
