The Referendum Result is In - a Resounding YES vote

The Referendum resulted in a massive 83% in favour of adopting the Teversal, Stanton Hill & Skegby Neighbourhood Plan.

Many thanks to all those who voted and to those who have worked to achieve this great result.

Mike Vardy, spokesperson for the TSS Neighbourhood Forum said, "This is a great achievement and vindication of all the hard work that has gone into
creating the Plan during the past 3 years.  Now it is time to get down to the detailed work of implementing the proposals included in the Plan".

Neil Oxby from Forward Planning at Ashfield District Council said, "I was pleased to learn this morning of the positive response from the local community to the neighbourhood plan referendum, which is a reflection of the work the Steering Group, the Neighbourhood Forum, volunteers and yourself have put into the Plan.

I would confirm that while I will be seeking ‘delegated approval’ to make the Plan, the Neighbourhood Plan comes into force as part of the statutory development plan once it has been approved at referendum."
